Helmet Cam Setup

  • Software to edit (I use Pinnacle Studio 8) - prices vary, but I think mine was around $150

Before you buy, make sure your camcorder has Audio/Video ID-2 port and Remote Lanc port.  The Remote Lanc allows you to turn the cam on/off and record/standby while you are riding, well worth the money.  The cam comes with a couple of different mounts.  Mine velcros onto the side of my helmet.  It is easy to take on and off during breaks, but stays put while riding.
